- Abstract
The article reports on the differences in the attributions used by journalists in six radio networks. Attributions and words used in radio broadcasts from October 1985 to October 1986 were scrutinized. Statistics on full attribution, combined attribution categories and comparison of attributed and non-attributed stories of different networks including ABC, CBS and NBC are presented. Word usage in radio network attributions are noted to include official, spokesman and source with the word official on top of the list.
