The article highlights the importance of joint training between health visitors, school nurses and social workers in improving protection of children's overall welfare. Topics include the promotion for multi-agency collaboration as outlined in "Getting it right for children, young people and families" from the Department of Health as well as the Department for Education's "Working together to safeguard children" emphasizing the importance of professionals in safeguarding children.
