- Abstract
The final issue of the Journal of Race, Ethnicity & Politics for 2023 features eight articles that explore various topics related to identity, political behavior, media framing, interethnic relations, and racial inequality. The articles analyze how racial and ethnic identity is shaped and contested, and how these identities influence attitudes and political behavior. They also examine the role of media in shaping perceptions of political events and explore the rationalizations behind support for movements like Black Lives Matter, All Lives Matter, and Blue Lives Matter. Additionally, the issue includes research on the role of race in political participation and decision-making, as well as the impact of gender on interethnic trust in Romania. Overall, the articles contribute to existing scholarship and offer new avenues for studying racial and ethnic politics.
