- Title
A royal salute to the North.
- Abstract
The article reports on the corporate art collection of the Royal Bank of Canada. The collection consists of Canadian art of a contemporary nature such as paintings, prints, and sculptures. Royal Bank hopes, with its collection, to educate and entertain its clients and employees about Canadian artists. The bank's branch in Toronto, Canada was not using its outdoor terrace so the chairman had tables and benches placed there as well as some live music and artwork. Artist Catherine Widgery was commissioned to create something for the terrace and she did, a life-sized sculpture called "City People."
