- Abstract
The author discusses aspects of a study related to experience of auditory dissonance by nurses towards clinical alarms. Topics include development of panic among Intensive care units (ICU) patients due to noise of these alarms, demand for proper vigilance by nurses for answering alarms, development of newer monitoring technology for decreasing ill effects of alarms, commitment of nurses for restructuring alarm systems and administration of effective solutions for hazard mitigation.
