- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which claims that tumor site and the size of the colorectal cancer could predict the need for the future resection of the primary tumor conducted by N. Ballian and colleagues published within the issue. Patients with stage IV colorectal cancer was identified in the study. Based on the results, delayed primary tumor resection was more common in low risk group if the patient did not undergo primary tumor resection before chemotherapy because of bleeding or symptoms of bowel obstruction.
