- Abstract
The author discusses a new department introduced in the Australian Occupational Therapy Journal, namely, Critically Appraised Papers or CAPs to keep occupational therapists up-to-date with advances related to practice. She mentions that studies about interventions which are ineffective are in frequent use, but consumes hours of the clinician's time. She concludes that in the future, qualitative research and effective interventions can help improve occupational therapy practice.
