- Abstract
The article focuses on a study on protein export from endoplasmic reticulum (ER) with signal ɸXɸXɸ and its interaction with Sec24C complex. Topics include cell surface exhibited by AE1-Ly49E chimeric protein which possessed ɸXɸXɸ motif, coatomer protein complex II (COPII), and co-transfection of Sec24C-AAA. The study found that for cargo proteins ER export, sequence of the ɸXɸXɸ functions as a single motif and interactions with Sec24C.
