- Abstract
The article presents a study which explores the novel genetic factors involved in the regulation sleep and wakefulness using inter-subspecific consomic strains established from C57BL/6J and MSM/Ms mice. The study conducted comprehensive phenotypic analysis in B6-Chr5TMSM (5T) and B6-Chr5CMSM (5C). Study reveals that further ((B6x5t)F1x5T)N2 linkage analysis may help in novel genetic factor identification in absence epilepsy and sleep/wake regulation.
