- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which examined the biological activities of green tea byproduct extract powder following a gamma-irradiation treatment. A 70% ethanol solution was used for the green tea leaf extraction process. Results of the study showed that there was a drop in the Hunter color values of the samples following gamma irradiation. It notes that there was no significant difference in the radical scavenging capacities of both the irradiated and nonirradiated samples.
