An interview with paleopathologist Alice Roberts is presented. When asked about what attracted her to study paleopathology, she refers to having a fascination on old bones and going to museums as a child. Roberts discusses how she finds evidence of infectious disease in skeletal tissue and her study of five skeletons from a Viking site in Anglesey, Wales. She also offers ideas for scientists to communicate their work to the public.
