- Abstract
The article offers information on the 25th anniversary of the New Mexico Coalition for Literacy (NMCL) on December 3, 2012 which was founded by First Lady Katherine Carruthers of New Mexico. Topics discussed include the adult literacy was selected by Carruthers as her program area focus, the NMCL helps 11 literacy programs across the state of New Mexico, and the literacy development that would stop the cycle of illiteracy.
