- Abstract
Displays using organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) have been regarded as the next-generation display with an exceptional image performance. Ink jet printing is expected to be an emerging manufacturing method for large size displays. In this paper, we successfully demonstrated a 200 ppi OLED panel fabricated by the ink jet printing process. Our research shows that the ink jet printing approach not only can be used for large sized displays but also for small-to medium-sized displays and produce resolution exceeding 200 ppi..
