An essay is presented on fatherhood in Russia. The authors highlight the country's demographic crisis caused by decrease in population which led to family and population policy engagement. They also note its significant implications toward society due to the influence of children and mothers on the attitudes of fathers. An overview of fatherhood in the U.S. and Western Europe is also presented.
