This article presents information on a previously published study, which examines the role of lipotropic medication in cutaneous lipidoses. The authors of the study have used the lipotropic substance " lipocaic ," in 21 cases of xanthomata of varying types with some improvement. In 25 patients with psoriasis only 4 really cleared with lipocaic alone.
