- Abstract
The article deals with the production of stretchable polymer semiconductors for applications in organic electronics. It is explained that block copolymers made of semiconducting and elastic polymers can be used to adjust the mechanical and electrical properties. Various synthesis methods for these block copolymers are described, including Ni-catalyzed Grignard metathesis polymerization and ring-opening metathesis polymerization. The authors emphasize that these stretchable polymer semiconductors are promising for applications in polymer electronics.
