- Title
Results from the Treatment of Hidradenitis Suppurativa Evaluation Study (THESEUS).
- Abstract
The article discusses the Treatment of Hidradenitis Suppurativa Evaluation Study (THESEUS), which aimed to understand the current treatment pathways for hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) and the factors that influence treatment choices for patients and clinicians. The study offered five treatment options, including laser hair removal and deroofing of skin tunnels, which were found to be the most popular choices among participants. The use of antibiotic tablets was less favored, with many participants discontinuing their use after three months. The study suggests that laser and deroofing may be promising options for further research and trials in the treatment of HS.
