- Abstract
The article presents a case study of manufacturing education in Mississippi. It mentions a dissatisfaction of 47 percent among employers in the manufacturing industry towards workforce preparedness of college graduates while 20 percent anticipate shortages in employees with bachelor's degrees. It also notes the lack of sufficient preparation on workers in several areas including teamwork, customer service and supervision.
