From the elements that are prioritized, they are omitted and reinforced in the headline, the lead, and the body of the news. The study allows corroborating that when addressing the issue of femicide, the news construction appeals to strategies such as naturalization, legitimation and spectacularization, and discursive resources such as euphemization, and mitigation, through which the phenomenon is paid to naturalization. Contextual circumstances that mitigate the magnitude of the crime of femicide take on relevance in the corpus.
