- Abstract
The article discusses a research on low nitrogen acquisition and absence of root architecture adaptation in highly branched root mutants of Medicago truncatula as of 2014. The topics discussed include nitrogen fixation through symbiosis in legumes, effect of nitrogen supply to highly branched mutants of the plant, and changes in expression of genes involved in the phenylpropanoid pathway in the plant.
