- Abstract
The article offers comments on the need for food safety education based on U.S. standards for non-English speakers in the food service industry in view of the growing dependence of the industry on immigrants. It states that to meet the needs of the food industry, food safety educators must give attention to smaller language groups working in the industry. It is opined that with the growing number of Middle Eastern restaurants, the food safety training aids are needed for Arabic speakers.
