- Abstract
The paper includes an analysis of the indicators that measure innovation among member countries of the European Union, namely Romania and Poland. The purpose of this paper is to build a set of scenarios on the innovation process in Romania in the coming years. The objectives of this paper aim an estimation of the moment Romania will pass from the modest innovators group to the upper class of the moderate innovators and identify the necessary efforts to succeed, beginning with Poland's model. The methodology used to reach the proposed objectives is based on analysis and processing of secondary data available about the European Union countries and the group of indicators which currently measure the degree of innovation of a country.
