- Abstract
The article presents information about developments related to accounting as of July 1966. University of Alabama posted news briefs on A.J. Penz. Penz spent the fall semester of 1965 in Peru on a project of accounting and control training for small firms. University of Southern California posted their brief on A.N. Mosich. Mosich has been appointed as an examiner by the California State Board of Accountancy. Briefs from Stanford University informs that Charles T. Horngren has been appointed as professor of accounting, Robert K. Jaedicke has been promoted to professor and appointed co-director of the business doctoral program. Robert T. Sprouse conducted two three-day seminars in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa, in June 1966. R. Gene Brown will participate in a management development program in Johannesburg during August. Gerald Wentworth has been appointed joint coordinator of the International Center for Management Education at Stanford for the coming year. The program brings about fifty professors of business to Stanford from developing countries for a period of eight months.
