- Authors
Neher, Ross
- Abstract
The article presents the author's insights on the impracticability of having a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in terms of job-hunting in the real world. He states that the presence of too many artists results to a tight job market for graduate students with a degree in arts who are initially hopeful to make a career as an artist. Moreover, he discusses the different periods that influenced the art academy as well as the economic concerns in the pursuit of bolstering art as part of the academe.
