- Abstract
The authors discuss aspects of methodological bias in public health decision making. They refer to the range of healthcare interventions and limited evidence from randomized controlled trial (RCTs) to assess the benefits of deworming for soil-transmitted helminthiases in school children. The authors argue that RCTs utility in evaluating public health interventions is not always optimal and can be affected by a significant methodological bias.
