- Authors
LOWE, ELIZABETH
- Abstract
An interview with Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector is presented. When asked whether art can function as a remedy to madness, she relates what her friend and personal physician told her, that she runs no risk of going mad as long as she continues writing. Lispector talks about her dachshund dog named Ulysses and her love for animals, which are often part of her writing. She states that she started writing at seven, but claims to have made up stories long before she started writing.
