The article offers information on excoriation which is a procedural type of knowledge. It talks about the clusters of this type of knowledge that include knowledge, monitoring, and control. It enumerates the sources of knowledge such as innate, automatic, and deliberate. The benefits of metacenter skills like awareness of the effectivity of one's problem solving approach, familiarity with personal learning styles, and flexibility and ease of adaptability are discussed.
