- Title
P-wave velocity changes in freezing hard low-porosity rocks: a laboratory-based time-average model.

- Abstract
The article presents a study which explains the p-wave velocity changes in freezing rocks due to the modifications in the velocities of pore infill. The modified two-phase-equation from A. Timur, which implements the changes in the matrix velocity dependent on lithology is presented in the study. Results show that a more realistic calculation of the rock velocity is provided by the extension of the time average equation.
