ABSTRACTS: PROPOSITION OF A NULL HYPOTHESIS MODEL FOR THE ANALYSIS OF RESULTS IN EXPERIMENTS OF GROUP CONSENSUS.
- Abstract
The article presents abstract of an article by Pierre Achard that appeared in the August 1979 issue of the journal Quality and Quantity. In experiments involving group consensus setting, which is a common small group situation in social psychology, one often has to confront specific statistical problems, for which the classical X-square or Student's (t) can hardly provide an adequate solution, not to mention quite inappropriate uses of variance analysis. To deal more strictly with such experimental results, it is of some use to refer to a null hypothesis describing the situation in the absence of a specific discussion effect.
