- Abstract
The article analyzes the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court case Kentucky v. King in which the court refuses to adopt the subjective inquiry as part of its test for police-created exigencies. It offers information on the police-created exigency doctrine and discusses various cases based on different tests developed by the U.S. circuit courts for analyzing the exigent circumstances created by the police. It mentions that this lawful test is inconsistent with the purposes of the Fourth Amendment.
