The article presents information on various laws related to oil spill and drilling industry to protect environment and citizens of the U.S. It includes information on various incident of oil spills and drilling disasters that has caused adverse impact on fishes, environment and lives of Americans due to which, laws for oil spills and oil drilling industries have been implemented that requires one to pay hefty amount of tax before drilling and its related activities in the U.S.
