- Abstract
The article reexamines the fair-use copyright legislation in China and the recommendations for fair-use legislative reform. It looks into the fair-use or fair-dealing doctrine in the U.S. and the ways in which courts deal with fair-use cases. It also explores the fair-dealing doctrine and model in Great Britain Commonwealth and Continental European countries such as Germany and France. It discusses the exceptions and limitations of Chinese copyright and the problems in the fair-use provision.
