- Abstract
An autoradiographic method with 125I-labelled anti-immunoglobulin was used to detect and enumerate immunoglobulin-secreting cells in human tonsillar tissue. A mean of 9.3 per cent of cells were found to be secreting when antiserum reactive with Fab and Fc fragments of IgG was used. Similar values were obtained using an antiserum specific to Fc and an antiserum capable of reacting with IgG and IgM.
