- Abstract
The article explores the controversy surrounding the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health. It challenges the claim that this is the first time the Court has revoked a recognized constitutional right by providing examples of previous rulings that have been overturned. The article also addresses criticisms related to religious freedom and fetal personhood, arguing that the decision allows for a compromise on abortion laws at the state level. It refutes arguments in favor of abortion rights, including the famous violinist analogy, and argues against the concept of body-self dualism. The text emphasizes the violation of the human fetus's body through abortion as a human rights violation and advocates for the protection of every individual human being, including those before birth.
