- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigated the importance of specimen radiography in determining cancer foci in patients with diagnosed or suspected thyroid cancer. The study performed a receiver operating characteristic curve analysis to compare the combined specimen radiography and ultrasonography and ultrasonography only to determine multifocality. Results indicate that specimen radiography is a functional tool in determining the type of cancer and the extent of thyroid cancer.
