The article offers information on the motet "Ego flos campi" composed by Jacobus Handl and renaissance performance practice for parish choirs. It further discusses that polyphony works beautifully alongside plainsong in the reverent celebration of the Mass and good option for parish choirs; "Ego flos campi" written in the high clefs; and Handl masterfully paints the meaning of the text, and the choir's interpretation should respond to these rhetorical cues of text and music.
