- Abstract
The article focuses on the insect herbivores of the horsetails of Equisetum L. Topics discussed include insect herbivory which appeared common in vegetative shoots or rhizomes, also known as tubers, of the sterile plants, several insects recovered from the vegetative plant, which include the horsetail sawflies, horsetail weevils, and horsetail leaf beetle, and development of polyphagous insects on Equisetum. Also mentioned are bionomics, dispersal, and co-evolution.
