- Abstract
An interview with Tong Chu Han, a U.S. citizen originally from North Korea, is presented. When asked what were the circumstances under which he left the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) he explained how in 1950 he was afraid of being drafted into the North Korean Army by force. He also explains his experiences in the Republic of Korea (South Korea) during and after the Korean War and how he was able to immigrate to the U.S.
