- Abstract
The article reports on the HUG trial of remote monitoring and video conferencing technology at Melbourne's Western Health in Victoria. HUG project manager Catherine Blackmore says that the pilot program aims to increase the rates of home dialysis of Western Health patients to the new benchmark set by the Victorian Department of Health of 30-35%. It uses a customised version of Tunstall Corp.'s ICP system to collect weight and blood pressure data for each patient.
