- Abstract
The article discusses morale among personnel in the United States military during the 21st century, including statistics on military morale and morale among U.S. Army soldiers. An overview of the psychological impact that the Iraq War of 2003 through 2011 and the Afghan War that began in 2001 had on U.S. military personnel, including in regard to the U.S. troops' attitudes on the value of fighting the Iraq War and the psychological impact that multiple troop deployments had on soldiers, is provided.
