The article presents a study which discusses the role of chromatin in DNA damage repair process. Topics discussed include the function DNA-damage response (DDR), the negative effect of DDR activation in SETD2-deficient cells, and the use of the chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) of acylated histone H4 in measuring the impact of Set2 in the structure of chromatin.
