- Abstract
The article focuses on the three pathogens that have infected animals and plants which in turn resulted to losses in both animals and plant agriculture. In animals, Anaplasma marginale is found to be the causative agent of bovine anaplasmosis in cattle while Ehrlichia ruminantium is a microorganism that causes heartwater in domestic and wild ruminants. For plants, Xanthomonas oryzae is the pathogenic microorganism that damages rice plants due to bacterial blight.
