- Abstract
The article focuses on learning science in languages other than English by maintaining science notebooks. Topics discussed include ability to communicate scientific information under investigation as central practice according to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), conducting classroom activities and incorporating language learning using science notebooks, completing Hamline's Elementary Science Methods course by teachers who teach Spanish and Chinese immersion programs.
