Abstract
The article discusses a study on the changing colors in the body parts of the bearded dragon. Topics include the body partition color changes to respond to temperature or to communicate with other lizards, neck area color change for social interactions as well as the color change function for camouflage as stated by research project leader Kathleen Smith. Also mentioned are energy-intensive lizard breeding season, dramatic cream to jet black color change and lizard skin absorption.
