The article discusses how students learn by making scientific inquiries. It is stated that scientific inquiry occurs when students make personal meaning of observed natural phenomena through which learning is shaped by their prior knowledge and their own curiosities about natural phenomena. During the process, teachers facilitate open-ended and student-student questioning while students explore their observations.
