- Title
Understanding Drainage Planes.
- Authors
Lstiburek, Joseph W.
- Abstract
The article provides information about the design and construction of the drainage planes to control the rain. Drainage can be created by sealing or layering water-resistant sheathings. The drainage space must be placed between the cladding and the drainage plane. Meanwhile, the drainage planes should be integrated with windows and door openings which has a design that will shed or drain water to the exterior. In addition, the drainage plane and drainage logic should include the entire building enclosure.
