NHCA proposals on hearing protection devices regulations.
- Abstract
The article reports on the recommendations submitted by the National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It is stated that the recommendations were made in response to the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) change for hearing protection devices. According to NHCA president Rick Neitzel, noise control efforts reduce noise exposures and prevent noise-induced hearing loss. It also mentions the two major changes to the proposed legislation of EPA.
