- Abstract
The article offers tips for music memorizing to build confidence in students or performers and mentions that how one can develop a system of memorization that can be trusted. It mentions the need to create maps to visualize the different aspects and challenges of a piece, using the aural, visual, tactile, analytical and kinesthetic strategies as ingraining tools during the memorization process. It discusses memory tests for pianists and others and the use of methods of purposeful distraction.
