The article describes what the Canary Islands taking into account what the climatic conditions of the archipelago and its paleogeography with a special paleoclimatic and paleoecological significance. Topics include Holocene is characterized by warmer and temperate climates with Geological origin of the island platforms; and underwater topography around the Canary Islands with geological records of glaciations.
