- Title
About the Artist: Red and Brown Fresno.
- Abstract
The article discusses Fresno, crisscrossed by irrigation canals and railroad tracks, the working-class capital of California's San Joaquin Valley. It offers photographs as a tribute to red and brown Fresno including Fresno's forlorn iron gate, Super_Tatt2's mural, and the Cachanilla pool hall. It notes the street in front of the Azteca Theater hauntingly empty at night during the Covid-19 pandemic. It reports racism and anti-immigrant hysteria as part of reasons for Fresno filled with Mexicans.
